A few days ago, our wines started to be sold on Rakuten in Japan. This was always our dream since we became a winery. Achieving one of the goals we had really makes us happy.
数日前、Kulaのワインの楽天での販売が始まりました。これは、私たちがワイナリーになって以来の夢でした。私たちが描いたゴールのひとつに到達できたことは、本当に幸せなことです。
One of the wines that are currently available in Japan is Golden Blend 2021. It's a Rhône style of blend of Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Roussane and Picpoul Blanc.
現在日本でご購入できるワインのひとつは、ゴールデンブレンド2021年です。ローヌスタイルのブレンドで、グレナッシュブラン、ヴィオニエ、ルーサンヌ、ピックプルブランです。
This is the very memorable wine for us. One of our winery dogs, Ehime passed away in March, 2022. She was a very adorable English Cream Golden Retriever. We asked the artist to pencil-design a scene of Ehime & Makana, and he made the special label to dedicate to her. It's Golden Blend.

This wine received Gold medals from Orange County California Fair Commercial Wine Competition and Central Coast Wine Competition in California.
このワインは、カリフォルニア州のOCフェアコマーシャルワインコンペティションと、セントラルコースト・ワインコンペティションから、金賞を受賞しました。
Sparking rosé 2019 has the beautiful coral pink color and sparkles. This Brut rosé has an exceptional aroma of strawberry and wild flowers. Emphasizing crisp, fruity palette, it exhibits the delicious flavor of Pinot Noir.

Estate Syrah Reserve 2016 is 100% Syrah. It was made of the grapes harvested in our vineyard in 2016. As you probably know already, we became a grape grower in 2014. We really put our effort to take care of these vines since then. With the aroma of tobacco and white pepper, this wine pairs well with grilled mushrooms, Santa Maria style Tri-Tip and spareribs.
エステイトシラーリザーブ2016年は、100％シラーです。2016年に私たちのぶどう畑で収穫されたぶどうで造られました。すでにご存知かもしれませんが、私たちは、2014年にぶどう栽培者になりました。それ以来、このぶどうの木々を育てるのに本当に努力してきました。タバコと白こしょうの香りがあり、このワインとよく合うお料理は、グリルしたマッシュルーム、サンタマリアスタイルのトライティップ、そしてスペアリブです。
We've never talked about this on the blog before, but we actually have Arabian horses, too! Hana was born in 2017, and became a family with us when she was 4 months old. She gave birth with this amazing colt in 2022. We named him, Ken wishing him to have a healthy and strong body.
今までブログでは話したことはありませんでしたが、実はアラブ馬もいます！ハナは2017年に生まれ、4ヶ月のときに私たちと家族になりました。ハナは、2022年に素晴らしい子馬の男の子を産みました。健康でたくましい体を持つようにと、私たちは男の子にケンと名付けました。
Our first Hana's Blend was the one from 2018. It was very popular and we sold out quicker than we expected. This is Hana's Blend 2020, a Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Our importer really wanted to carry this wine, so we shipped it to them right after we waited for calming down from the bottle shock after bottling.
私たちの最初のハナズブレンドは、2018年ものでした。とても人気があり、思ったより早く売り切れてしまいました。これは、ハナズブレンド2020年です。カベルネ・ソーヴィニヨンとメルローのボルドースタイルのブレンドです。輸入業者さんから、このワインをどうしても扱いたいとおっしゃって頂いたので、ボトリングからのボトルショックが落ち着くのを待ってから、すぐにお送りさせて頂きました。
We also made the new label for Ken for Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2020. My husband was babying the vines every day when we first planted them in 2017. We harvested the grapes from those vines for the first time in 2020, and bottled in 2022. It's the perfect wine to have Ken's label, isn't it?
そして、エステイトカベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン2020年には、ケンの新しいラベルを作りました。2017年に初めてカベルネソーヴィニヨンのぶどうの木々を植えたとき、主人は毎日赤ちゃんに接するように世話をしていました。2020年に初めてこの木々からぶどうを収穫し、2022年にボトリングしました。ケンのラベルを付けるには、ピッタリのワインでしょう？
This spectacular wine was fermented in 20% French oak barrels for 20 months. Layers of blueberry and raspberry bring fruity notes to the fold.
この素晴らしいワインは、20％フレンチオークの樽で、20ヶ月発酵されました。ブルーベリーとラズベリーのレイヤーで、果実味のある仕上がりになっています。
If my father was alive, he would be saying "I don't know much about wine, but good job." I wish we had a chance to open a bottle and enjoy wine together with him.
もし父が生きていたら、きっと「ワインのことはあまりよくわからないけれど、よくやった。」って言ってくれたと思います。ボトルを開けて、一緒にワインをエンジョイできればよかったのにな。

ワインを購入しました。カルアくん、コナくん、えひめちゃんたちが描かれた最初のワインと、コーラルピンク、そして金賞！金賞はお世話になってる職場の方に、コーラルピンクは先日、大切なワンコを逝かせてしまった友人に、最初のワインは私のラベル観賞用？です。これからどんどん販路が拡大していきますよう、心から願っています。
